These superb gites set in the tranquil Dordogne region of France are a perfect base for you to explore the surrounding Countryside and the magnificent Hautefort Chateau, with its impressive gardens which are close by.

Fleur de cerise was once an ancient stone granary which has been carefully restored to a high standard to provide spacious open plan contemporary living, with fully fitted kitchens which have a full comprehensive range of appliances.

Each accommodation has four spacious bedrooms, bathroom & shower rooms easily accommodating 2 - 10 people depending on requirements and are completely centrally heated for winter rentals.

The good size swimming pool is 40ft x 20ft (12 metres x 6 metres) and 4ft.9 inches (1.45 metres) deep and is fitted with a modern pool alarm system.

There is a large communal BBQ area and Part of the barn is set aside as a games room, which contains a pool table, tennis table, football table and pinball machines.

There are also mountain bikes of various sizes, which are available to explore the beautiful countryside at your leisure.

Surrounding Villages

All amenities are to be found locally in the villages of St.Agnan and Cherveix Cubas.

St.Agnan has a superb supermarket, a petrol station, bakery (delicious bread and croissants), hotel with restaurant (that makes its own freshly baked pizzas) and a bank with cash machine.

Cherveix Cubas has a small supermarket, post office, pharmacy and several restaurants including Restaurant Franca, set in a converted barn, which serves excellent food at reasonable prices.

Larger towns such as Excideuil and Périgueux are a short driving distance away.

The Dordogne River with its medieval towns such as Sarlat, which has an excellent street market are well worth a visit.
